Composting is a process by which mostly the waste organic materials are allowed to be decayed by microbes. In composting, the suitable conditions are provided for the decomposers. As a result of composting nutrient-rich material called compost is formed which can be added to the soil which increases its fertility. Thus, compost can help crops, vegetable plants and other plants to grow. Therefore, composting does not results into habitat destruction.
