since both of the equations are equal to m, we can set them equal to each other. 5n - 3 = 3n + 7 . Subtract 3n from both sides, 2n - 3 = 7. And add 3 to both sides, 2n = 10. Now divide both sides by 2, n = 10.

5n-3=3n+7
5n=3n+10(7+3)
2n=10 (5-3)
n=5 (2/10)
