To find the missing side of the triangle, we use pythagorean theorem.
c^2=a^2+b^2
Put values
16^2 = 5^2 +b^2
256=25+b^2
Subtract 25 from both sides.
231=b^2
Take square root.
15.2=b
or
b=15.2 Rounded to nearest tenth.
