It's highly unlikely the animals will immediately adapt and the number of trees is decreasing because they're being cut down. Unless the question explicitly states that trees are being planted to replace those being lost.

Answer:

  • The new species will evolve to survive in the deforested land.
  • Animals will migrate to other regions in search of food.

Step-by-step explanation:

Deforestation greatly affects animal life. Animals living in the deforested region will have to readapt their lives and look for another habitat to settle in or adapt to new living conditions. Most likely when an area is cleared, animals migrate to other regions in search of food, which can even invade the urban environment and cause some accidents. Another thing that can happen is adaptation, species will adapt to the deforested area in a slow process, and new species will evolve to survive on deforested land.
