Explanation:

You do 7.7 divided by 2.2 which gives you 3.5. Then just divide the exponents seperately and when dividing you subtract the exponents. Since you are subtracting you will have (-2)-(-2) and when you subtract a negative number it becomes addition because the two -- cancel out. So it is -2+2 which is equal to 0. 10 to the power of 0 (or any number to the power of 0) is always equal to 1. So 3.5 x 1 is the answer which gives you C.
