The function and the first value stated for x are confusing.

Doing some research, I found that the problem is to evaluate the function
f(x)=4.7^x for x = - 1 and x 2.

The solution is:

1) For x = - 1

f(-1)=4. 7^(-1) =4. (1/7)=4/7

2) For x = 2

f(2)=4.7^2=4(49)=196
