Chloroplast, usually on a plants leaf absorbs sun rays and chemically combine the sun rays and oxygen in result of glucose and carbon dioxide.

During photosynthesis, plants trap sunlight. Plants use the energy of the sun to change water and carbon dioxide into a sugar called glucose. Glucose is used
by plants for energy.
6CO2 + 6H2O + light energy = C6H12O6 + 6O2.
