D. Fourteen Points.
The Fourteen Points was a document which included the basis for peace, and was meant to be used for peace negotiations during WWI in order to end the war. It was first mentioned at the beginning of 1918 by the president of the United States, Wilson, although the rest of the Allied Powers (France, UK and Italy) were doubtful of Wilson’s ways of application of his ideas.
Germany was not included in this document as they belonged to the opposition, the Central Powers (also known as the Quadruple Alliance, which included Germany, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria). They lost the war.
