500,000 in scientific notation is 5 X 10^5
5,880,000,000,000 in scienctific notation is 5.88 X 10^12
(5 X 10^5) X ( 5.88 X 10^12) = 2.94 X 10^18
so your answer is 2.94 X 10^18
