I [was] terribly disappointed with my grade because I [studied] very hard.

THE VERBS ARE IN BRACKETS. CHOOSE THE BEST DESCRIPTION BELOW.

a) The verb tense shifts. Change "was" to "am".

b) The verb tense shifts. Change "studied" to "have been studying".

c) The verb tense shifts. Change "was" to "will be".

d) The verb tense is fine as written. No change needed.

If you use a past tense for 'was very dissappointed...', then studied must also be past tense (because the event has already passed, and has already taken place)
