The eurasian plate travels the slowest, at about 0.7 cm/y. How long would it take the plate to travel 3 cm?

Simply divide 3 by 0.7,


3 / 0.7 = (30)/(7) = 4 (2)/(7)

Or ≈ 4.28571 which is ≈ 4 years.
