The right answer is C. anaphase.

Anaphase follows the metaphase and precedes the telophase.

Anaphase is the stage of a mitosis or meiosis during which the son chromosomes migrate to the opposite poles of the cell (towards the ends of the achromatic spindle) eukaryotic, in which the duplicate chromosomes are separated, because of the division of the centromere .

The chromatids are then displaced to the opposite poles of the mitotic division cell by the mitotic or meiotic spindle, so that each daughter cell inherits one copy of each chromosome. It also occurs when the chromosomes reach their maximum level of condensation.
