Hey there,

I believe but I'm not quite sure, I believe that the correct answer would be 42 because by subtracting 79-37, that should give you y.

All the angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees.

So, all the angles are equal to 180.

79+37+y= 180

Combine like terms.

116+y=180

Subtract 116 on both sides.

y=64
