Answer: Actually, you must use the Pythagorean Theorem!

a squared plus b squared equals c squared. So if you substitute in the values, a is 2 units and b is three units. 2 squared is 4 and 3 squared is 9.

4 + 9 = 13 so the answer is the square root of 13. (√13)
