Answer:

2 times 10 -3 and 2 times 10-1

Explanation:

1. Lets start with the first problem 2 times 10 -3. 2 times 10 is 20 and then we just subtract that from 3 which is 17. The answer to the first problem is 17 and that is greater than 3 so that problem is one of the answers.

2. Next problem 1 times 10-34. 1 times 10 is 10. Then you just do 10 minus 34 which is kinda tricky because its a negative number but how I did that problem is I calculated what 34 minus 10 is and put a negative sign in front of it. 34-10=24 or 10-34=-24 -24 is not bigger than 3 because its below 0 so it is not apart of the answers.

3. Next problem 2 times 10-45. 2 times 10 is 20. Next we take the 20 and subtract it by 45. Using the trick in step 2 we know that we can just do 45-20=25 Now add your negative sign -25. This answer is not bigger than 3.

4. Then problem 2 times 10-25. 2 times 10 is 20. Then we subtract 20 from 25. 25-20=5 Now add your negative sign -5. -5 is not greater than 3.

5. Final problem 2 times 10-1. 2 times 10 is 20. Next we just take the 20 and subtract it from 1. 20-1=19 This number is greater than 3.

(I have the steps in bold of the correct answers.)
