Problem: A table tennis ball has a positive charge of 7.0 × 10-8 coulombs. It experiences an electric force of 3.6 × 10-4 newtons at a point slightly above a positively charged table. Calculate the magnitude of the electric field at this point. Part A: Enter the variable for the quantity you need to find. Use your keyboard and the keypad to enter your answer. Then click Done.

The electric field is measured in newtons/coulomb. So

(3.6 * 10^-^4 N)/(7.0 * 10^-^8C)= 5142.86 (N)/(C)
