Jake and Aisha conducted an experiment together to test the effects of fertilizer runoff on the amount of dissolved oxygen in a lake. They each crested a graph from the results.

The correct answer is, the most likely reason that Jake and Aisha formed different conclusions is that the students used different ranges for their “y” axes.

It was important that they created graphs of the results of the experiments because that way they can interpret the data and can make trends of the data resulted and identify mistakes, correct them or make any other decision. If the evidence of the experiment matches what was stated in the hypothesis you get your experiment right and can reach a conclusion.
