The Pythagorean theorem is a mathematical process which allows us to find a missing side to a triangle. The formula for the Pythagorean theorem is: a^2 + b^2 = c^2.

Example problem:
2^2 + 4^2 = c^
4 + 16 = C
20 = C
4.47 = C^2
