From given picture we see that line passes through two points (-1,5) and (1,-3).

We have to find equation of line in slope intercept form y=mx+b. So we can begin with finding slope (m) first using formula

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(-3-5)/(1--1)=(-8)/(1+1)=(-8)/(2)=-4

Now plug the value of slope m=-4 and any one point say (1,-3) into point slope formula

y-y_1=m(x-x_1), we get:

y--3=-4(x-1)

y+3=-4x+4

y=-4x+4-3

y=-4x+1

Hence final answer is D. y=-4x+1.
