Divide 3 1/2 by 2/3. 3 1/2 = 7/2 as an improper fraction, so we have 7/2 ÷ 2/3 = 7/2 * 3/2 = 21/4 = 5 1/4 L

Answer:

Ben will drink
5(1)/(4) liters of tea in one hour.

Explanation:

Ben drinks
3(1)/(2) or
(7)/(2) liters of tea in every
(2)/(3) of an hour.

Here
(2)/(3) of an hour can be represented in minutes as

(2)/(3)* 60 minutes = 40 minutes.

Now we will apply unitary method to solve this question.

∵ Ben drinks amount of tea in 40 minutes =
(7)/(2) liters

∴ Ben will drink tea in 1 minute =
(7)/(2* 40)

∴ Ben will drink the amount of tea in 60 minutes =
(7* 60)/(2* 40)

=
(420)/(80)

=
(21)/(4) liters

=
5(1)/(4) liters

Therefore, in one hour Ben will drink
5(1)/(4) liters of tea.
