YAY I LOVE DISTRIBUTION but isn't FOIL better
if you want distributive just put it like this
x^2*x
x^2*(-4)
3*x
3*(-4)
(which basically is FOILing but its distributive too)
so the answers would be
x^3+-4x^2+3x-12
