The Kellogg-Briand Pact was an international agreement proposed jointly by US Secretary of State Frank Kellogg and French Foreign Minister Aristide Briand. It was made in 1927 but 75 countries signed it. The pact states that every nation that signed should not use the war as a way to resolve disputes or conflicts. The pact also states that the nation who does not abides to the pact would be denied of the benefits of the treaty.
