Instructions? Pls don't make your helpers guess.

First problem: f(x) = -(x+4)^2 + 1

a) First, graph g(x) = x^2 (a parabola). Then reflect your graph in the x-axis, because of the "-" sign. This will give you the graph of h(x) = -x^2.

b) Now move the entire graph 4 units to the LEFT. This will give you the graph of j(x) = -(x+4)^2.

c) Now move the entire graph of j(x) UP by one unit.
This will give you the desired graph, of f(x).
