15 POINTS NEED HELP ASAP Studies have been done that show that we are attracted to trauma and other negative events in life because it allows us to feel a bit better about our own life. Do you think that is true? Do you think that we are fascinated with car wrecks, etc. because it gives us an opportunity to be happier with our own life? Write a paragraph answering these questions.

Answer:

I'm not really sure why we are attracted to morbid tragedies. Maybe it IS because it makes us feel superior about ourselves. Or maybe it's because it it helps to better understand what other people are going through, so we can feel more grateful about what we DO have. Or maybe it's simply a curiosity to see what is going on in the world, so we can be better prepared if this would happen to ourselves. I think it's a mixture of all, or maybe it's simply a fascination with something that is extremely out of place in life. I think that the studies that show it helps us feel more superior are true, but it could also be what I said before.

Hope it helps! Have a great day!

TIP: if you are doing this in odyssey, I would suggest NOT copying! I don't mind at all, but odyssey can detect plagarism from other sites!!!

I believe that negative events DO have an effect on our happiness. Humans like to feel superior because it makes us feel significant. When we see bad things happen to other people, we tend to think better of our own lives. We learn to be more appreciative of what we have because these events can make realize that good things come as easily as they go. Being grateful is one the biggest steps to become happier.
