Find the area of a parallelogram if a base and corresponding altitude have the indicated lengths. Base 1.5 feet, altitude 6 inches.

Area of parallelogram =base *height =1.5*0.5=0.75sqft or 9 inch

The formula for the are of a parallelogram is A=b*h. To find the are we first have to convert the altitude to be in feet. 6 inches is equal to 0.5 feet. If we plug it in the formula we get, 1.5*0.5= 0.75
