It will be 2/5 ft long and 7/25 ft wide. 200•1/500=2/5
140•1/500=7/25

Given that length of the building = 200 feet

Given that width of the building = 140 feet

Now it says that "a 1/500 model is built of the building "

Which means they want to create a model with ratio 1 feet for each 500 feet.

So to find the length and width of the model we will simply divide given sides by 500.

Side length of the Model = 200/500 = 2/5 = 0.4 feet

Side width of the Model = 140/500 = 14/50 = 0.28 feet

Hence final answer is model will be of length 0.4 feet and width 0.28 feet.
