2a + 3y = 134......multiply by -2
3a + 2y = 146......multiply by 3
--------------------
-4a - 6y = - 268 (result of multiplying by -2)
9a + 6y = 438 (result of multiplying by 3)
------------------add
5a = 170
a = 170/5
a = 34

3a + 2y = 146
3(34) + 2y = 146
102 + 2y = 146
2y = 146 - 102
2y = 44
y = 44/2
y = 22

ur solution is (34,22) and y would be 22 <==
