We can find the midpoint with this formula
x-midpoint = (x₁ + x₂)/2
y-midpoint = (y₁ + y₂)/2

From the question we know that,
(x₁, y₁) = (1.3, 3.7)
(x₂, y₂) = (0.7, -1.4)

Plug the numbers into the formula
x-midpoint = (x₁ + x₂)/2
x-midpoint = (1.3+0.7)/2
x-midpoint = 4/2
x-midpoint = 2

y-midpoint = (y₁ + y₂)/2
y-midpoint = (3.7 - 1.4)/2
y-midpoint = 2.3/2
y-midpoint = 1.15

The midpoint is (2, 1.15)
