The auc and aua codons in mrna both specify isoleucine. what feature of the genetic code explains this?

This provides us information about the degeneracy or the redundancy of the genetic code, where more than one sequence of 3 nucleotides on the MRNA can code for more than amino acid, based on its complementary anticodon.
