{x}^(2) + 5x + 3 = 0 \\ {(x)}^(2) + 2(x)( (5)/(2) ) + {( (5)/(2) })^(2) - (13)/(4) = 0 \\ ( {x + (5)/(2) })^(2) - (13)/(4) = 0 \\ ( {x + (5)/(2) })^(2) - {(( √(13) )/(2))}^(2) = 0 \\ (x + (5)/(2) + ( √(13) )/(2) )(x + (5)/(2) - ( √(13) )/(2) ) = 0 \\ (x + (5 + √(13) )/(2))(x + (5 - √(13) )/(2) ) = 0\\ so \: x = (-5 - √(13) )/(2) \: or \: x = ( - 5 + √(13) )/(2)
the answer is the second one
