I need help with Pythagorean theorem.

If both the legs of a triangle are 5 and 7 and the hypotenuse is 13, is it a right triangle? I’m confused.

No it is not a right triangle

5^2+7^2=25+49=74

so 13^2=169

74 is not equare 169 so it is not a trainagle
