The quick rule to remember for slope is rise over run or
(rise)/(run) . Look at the rise first (y axis) and see that it goes DOWN from 10,000 to 4000 which is a 6000 ft DROP. This -6000 is our rise. now we need to see how fast it drops so we find our run part using the x axis. it went from 0 minutes FORWARD to 25 minutes. This is a positive 25 minutes and is our run.
(-6000)/(25) =-240
