Find the slope of a line passing through the points (5, - 2) and (11, 2)

the slope is equal to 4/6 or 2/3.  You do this by doing y^2 -y^1 divided by x^2-x^1.  2-(-2) over 11-5. 2+2=4 because two negatives change into a positive.  4/6= 4/6 or 2/3.
