the answer is 48 minutes

Well, we know that 1 hour is 60 minutes which means 2 hours is 120.
so to find the answer we turn 40% into a decimal which would be .40

Take .40 and multiply that by 120.
.40 * 120 is 48

40% of 2 hours is 48 minutes.
