Answer:

x=0

Explanation:

(x – 3)(x + 9) = –27

To get the solution we solve for x

(x – 3)(x + 9) = –27

USe FOIL method to multiply (x – 3)(x + 9)

x^2 +9x-3x-27

x^2 + 6x - 27

(x – 3)(x + 9) = –27

x^2 + 6x - 27=-27

Add 27 on both sides

x^2 + 6x=0

x(x+6)=0

x=0 and x+6 =0

x=0 , x=-6

So x=0 is one of the solution
