Unit Price for bread A is 0.06 cents per ounce
Unit Price for bread B is 0.05 cents per ounce (rounded to the nearest thousandths/ cent)
So it would be better to buy bread b

Answer:

Best buy is answer choice (b).

Explanation:

To get the unit price per ounce, we divide the total by number of ounces.

a. In cents:
(96)/(16)=6 cents per ounce

b. $1.75 is equal to
1.75*100=175 cents. So we have:
(175)/(32)=5.47 cents per ounce

So we see that the second choice is "cheaper" per ounce, so second option, (b), is the best buy.
