C.The Spencer family bought 4 adult tickets and 2 children's tickets. Did they spend the same as the Andrew family? Explain.

b.The Andrew family bought 2 adult tickets, 3 children's tickets, and 1 senior ticket. Evaluate your expression in part a to find the total cost of tickets.

The tickets brought by the Spencer's family

4 adult tickets=
4X $8.75 = $35

2 children tickets =
2X $6.50 = $13

So that would add to $35+$13 = $48


Now let's calculate the cost for Andrew family

2 adult ticket =
2X$8.75 = $17.5

3 children's ticket =
3X $6.50 = $ 19.5

1 senior ticket =
1X $6.50 = $ 6.50

So this will add to


17.5+19.5+6.5

=$43.5

(c)No. The Spencer family has spent more than the Andrew family
