a line k passes through points -5,-5 and 1, 13. a second line h passes through the points -3,-10 and 3,8 is the line k parallel to line h?

Parallel lines have the same slope
Slope of line k is (13- -5)/(1- -5)=18/6=2
Slope of line h is (8- -10)/(3- -3)=18/6=2
Since the slopes are the same for both lines the lines are parallel
