A worker in the modern manufacturing system does not work independently any more. He has to follow orders, keep step, and has no contribution in the plan of his task, its accomplishment, usage and dissemination. He has to perform a specific task only such that he ends up helpless if such a task is no longer available. A worker loses his individualism or independence as well as his pride in his work and skill that is honed through training, creativity and accountability.
