it's almost impossible to overstate the importance of the French Revolution other than the Protestant Reformation in World War 1 the French Revolution is the most important. In modern European history it's spread enlightenment ideas across Europe and reshape the borders of Europe. it was the first Rebellion when the third state de franchised. it also led to the rise of nationalism which would unify Germany and break apart the Austrian Empire
