For this case we have the following nominal value:
5.5 / 1.6 = 3.4
For the numerator we have the following range of values:
5.5 - 0.2 = 5.3
5.5 + 0.2 = 5.7
For the denominator we have on the other hand:
1.6 - 0.2 = 1.4, to
1.6 + 0.2 = 1.8
Therefore, making the corresponding divisions:
5.3 / 1.4 = 3.8
5.7 / 1.8 = 3.2
Thus, the error will be given by
3.8-3.4 = +0.4
3.2 - 3.4 = -0.2
answer
+0.4
-0.2
