3/6+1/6+(-6/3)+1/6

Do the addition you can first. Remember a positive and a negative will be negative. Do the rest of the addition because it has the same denominator.
=4/6-6/3+1/6
=5/6-6/3

Now you need a common denominator. In this case 3 can go into 6 two times. So you can multiply the numerator 6 by two and make 6/3 into 12/6. Now you can finish subtracting.

=5/6-12-6
=-7/6

Hope this helps!! :)

3/6+1/6+(-6/3)+1/6

A positive and a negative equal a negative.

3/6+1/6-6/3+1/6

3/6+1/6= 4/6

4/6+1/6= 5/6

5/6-6/3

Make 3 a fraction with the denominator of 6.

-6/3= -12/6

5/6-12/6= -7/6

-7/6 is the value of the expression.

I hope this helps!
