f(x) = {x}^(2) - 10

g(x) = 11 - x
then

(f - g)(x) = f(x) - g(x) \\ = {x}^(2) - 10 - (11 - x) \\ = {x}^(2) + x - 21
so

(f - g)(2) = {2}^(2) + 2 - 21 \\ = 4 + 2 - 21 \\ = - 15
