New inventions caused the workplace to be moved from cottages to factories. In early times, there was no innovation and no machines and hence majority of the work was done through hand such as cottage place. With the passage of time, there were new inventions in the form of machines and hence the workplace started to work on these machines and hence the workplace got transferred to Factories from cottage.
