The kite area can be calculated using the formula
a = 1/2 × d₁ × d₂
with d₁ as first diagonal and d₂ as second diagonal

From the question, we know that
d₁ = 9.5 + 9.5
d₁ = 19 in

d₂ = 7 + 12
d₂ = 19 in

Calculate the area by plugging in the numbers into the formula
a = 1/2 × d₁ × d₂
a = 1/2 × 19 × 19
a = 1/2 × 361
a = 180.5

The area of the kite is 180.5 in²
The answer is fourth answer
