The distance traveled by a car moving at constant speed is given by
d= vt where
v velocity of the car and
t time. Thus,
d depends on both speed and time. A car with velocity
v=10 may travel
d=20 in 2 sec. But a car with lower speed
v=5 can travel
d=40 in 8 sec. So we cannot say the car with larger speed travels farther.

In the same way we cannot say that the car traveling the longest time always travel the greatest distance since a car with larger speed may travel more distance in a lesser time.
