Rearrange the formula d = vt and solve for velocity (or average speed). A car travels 25 km in 30 min. What was the car’s average speed?

25 km (V) times 30 min (T) equals 750 m/s²

The average speed of car is calculated using the following formula:

Average speed=(total distance travelled )/(total time taken)

This is same as obtained by rearranging the formula d=vt where, v is velocity, d is distance and t is time.

Here, distance travelled is 25 km and time taken is 30 min thus, average speed will be:

Average speed=(25 km )/(30 min)=0.833 km/min

Thus, car's average speed is 0.833 km/min.
