x = larger number, y = smaller number
x + y = 2x - 4.....-x + y = -4
x - 3y = -20
-x + y = -4
x - 3y = -20
----------------add
-2y = -24
y = -24/-2
y = 12
x - 3y = -20
x - 3(12) = -20
x - 36 = -20
x = -20 + 36
x = 16
ur numbers are 12 and 16
