The limitation of men in the Middle Ages was that they never saw themselves are creators like the Renaissance men did, and as a creations of God they had believed that they were sinful and unable to live their lives by their own will. Religion was the main limitation on the people of the Middle Ages, but those in the Renaissance believed in holding their place as higher than all of God's other living creations, but not God himself.
2. One aspect of humanism that can be seen by the way that Petrarch lived his live is the need and want to connect with others and to be connected to the real world, unlike the Medieval men who were more focused on finding their religious souls and less on who they actually were as a person.
