You'll find the width using area formula
l × w = a
a stands for area, l stands for length, w stands for width
From the question,
a = 756
l = 108
Find the width
l × w = a
108 × w = 756
w = 756/108
w = 7
The roof is 7 inches wide

length X width = area. for this problem, just divide the area of 756 sq. inches by the length of 108 in. to find the width.
